Slug. I’ve listened to this several times in a row now, the voice ever so familiar to my ears; the spoken verses, trying to figure out where I’ve heard it before. Regardless, this is excellent blackmetal, with a very dark energy emanating throughout. The first track is faster pace for the majority of the song, with death, shouted and spoken vocals. The second is more mid paced, allowing for the darkness to seep out. Beautifully dark hymn praising Lucifer. Favorite track: Inside the Blood Catacomb.
